Service · Appliance plumbing
Washing machine and dishwasher plumbing-in, hose replacement, waste connection. Standard appliance connection £70 to £120.
Connecting a new washing machine or dishwasher: supply hose to the isolation valve, waste hose into the standpipe or under-sink waste, and a check that everything runs and drains without leaking before we leave. Most straightforward installs are a single short visit.
A burst or perished supply hose is one of the more common causes of a sudden water leak near a kitchen or utility appliance. We replace supply and waste hoses as standard whenever we are connecting a new appliance, rather than reusing old ones that may already be near the end of their life.
A washing machine or dishwasher that drains slowly or leaks from the waste connection is usually either a blocked standpipe or a loose or degraded waste hose fitting. Straightforward to check and fix without needing to move the appliance out fully in most cases.
Standard appliance connection (supply and waste, existing isolation valve in place) £70 to £120. Where an isolation valve needs fitting or replacing as part of the job, add £40 to £75. Waste-pipe blockage behind an appliance cleared £70 to £110.
